Getting From Central Stellenbosch to De Zalze

From town we head down Dorp Street and turn onto the R44 towards Somerset West. About 4 kilometres later we turn off onto Maria Lievens Road and go in at the estate gate. Roughly 7 kilometres all in.

The R44 is the slow bit. Weekday mornings and late afternoons it backs up between town and the Technopark turn-off, so we plan the drive around that.

Access Tips for De Zalze

Check your estate’s moving rules a week before. Most estates set moving hours and want contractor details submitted in advance.
